Focus on Repeat Customers and Profit, Nothing Else Matters.

At EssTwo, we have a multidisciplinary team with one goal: acquiring new customers and turning them into repeat customers.

Why is that so important to us?

If I were to answer that in a single word, it would be this: longevity.

Over the last 20 years, we've seen many companies rise and fall. You might be surprised to learn that some strong brands didn't survive. Large or small, no company can outrun the need to be profitable.

All the companies that failed made the same mistake: they focused all their attention on branding or new customers, but then ignored the cost of converting new customers and the fact that retaining customers is cheaper.

For you, dear founder, retention means getting more customers who keep paying for your products. And remain loyal over the long term. This is what we want. Profit is king, not cash. And repeat customers equal profit.

It is smart to be obsessed with generating new customers. We have introduced a lot of brands to improved customer acquisition systems. We still need new customers. But at EssTwo (my agency), we think about growth differently. We think about more revenue and more profit.

I won't mention names (you can Google it), but many out-of-business brands simply spent more than they made. They didn't track their numbers. They didn't monitor their marketing ROI over multiple time frames. And most importantly, they didn't expand their marketing into an ecosystem to capture more repeat business.

Let's look at an example. One of our clients was running paid traffic when we met them. They were not posting social content. They sent out one email per week to their email list. They had (what we considered) a weak lead-generation offer, among other things. In summary, they had a poor Profit Ecosystem.

Within weeks of working with us, we installed a consistent social strategy (to add new people to their email list) and a new email marketing cadence with advanced segmentation (so we can email more often without breaking the list). The result is captured in the video below. We increased the revenue per email by $3,000.

Without spending an extra dollar on marketing, we increased the profitability of their marketing by 310%

This video is a small part of our push to maximise repeat customers.
